How this all works
2Timbuktu is way to help you find the best of where ever you are in the world according to people who love where you are. This site is full of guides, done step-by-step through Picassa slideshows, of user's favorite places, how to get there, and who to talk to when you're there.
Right below here is a Google map with blue pins showing the guides we've made already. As a user you are welcome to start making your own guide with a Picassa album, showing step-by-step how someone with just the most basic knowledge of your city, neighborhood, country, etc., can find your place, eat your food, meet your bartender the world over.
Once you've created your album, just embed it into the next post on the blog. We'll put a pin on the master map (right beneath) and from there, it's ready for anyone to follow!
